I recently visited The Husband’s home town: Bluffton, Indiana. It was completely charming. And the 100th anniversary of their street fair was really fun. But what was exciting was finding this amazing new farm-to-table restaurant there, T.W. Fable. (I don’t quite get the name, but that’s okay.)

They had been open about two weeks when we ate there… the menu offered some really wonderful options, their staff gave great customer service, they were pretty knowledgeable about gluten-free dining… it was just a pleasure. My only critique would be that none of the (many) veggie sides could be had vegan… all contained butter. But they probably don’t meet too many vegans, so I totally understand.
When the farm-to-table movement is happening in small towns in the Midwest… that’s when you know it’s not just a trend. My very best wishes for success to owner Tiercell Schwartz and his team. If you are ever in the Ft. Wayne area, this restaurant is worth the drive!
