One in four households in the United States is affected by migraine.
If it’s not a family member, you undoubtedly have a co-worker or acquaintance who suffers, possibly silently, with this devastating chronic condition: 36 million Americans, and likely 300 million worldwide. Having a full-length migraine documentary movie will help remove the stigma that migraine sufferers feel, hopefully bring more dollars to research, and help people be more understanding of the condition.
Since the filmmakers met their initial goal, they are now focused on getting as many supporters as possible for the film. This will help secure additional funding to finish it, get it out on the festival circuit, and get distribution for it later. So consider donating just a dollar (more if you can) and encouraging your friends and family to do so as well.
I first learned about this amazing movie when the producer got in touch before they launched their Kickstarter. I asked how I could help, and we decided that I would create a small recipe book as one of the rewards. I’m excited to be a tiny part of this groundbreaking effort, and I hope you will share this post with friends and family and encourage them to donate too.
